Crock Pot Pizza (Crustless)

This is a delicious, gluten-free, and low-carb dinner that is made right in the crock pot! I love these types of meals!

The kids loved this recipe and said we can make it again and again! This recipe is so versatile, you can add any toppings to it you want for any flavor of pizza.

I’m not going to lie, this isn’t the most attractive picture, I am not totally sure how to make crock pot meals look good in a photo. But, this stuff tastes so good and you should definitely add this to your next meal plan, or find it on my frequently!

I have listed two ways of cooking this meal. If you do the crock pot-only version, the texture of the meat changes just a little bit, it is more like meatloaf in texture. However, it saves a lot of dishes and a lot of time so try these both and pick which method you prefer!

Crock Pot Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground meat of choice I use 1 pound beef and 1 pound pork
  • 14 ounces pizza sauce
  • 1/4 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped*
  • 1 small can black olives*
  • 1/2 small package pepperoni*
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Cooking method – Satue pan + crock pot
  2. Spray crock pot with cooking spray or line with liner for easier clean up.
  3. Brown meat with onions and spices. Drain the fat.
  4. Mix the pizza sauce, green pepper, and black olives with the meat in a skillet and pour into the sprayed crock. Lay this out as flat as you can.
  5. Top with the cheese and pepperoni.
  6. Next, cook on low for 4 hours to melt the cheese.
  7. Cooking method – crock pot only
  8. Put the ground meat into the crock pot uncooked. Put the onion in the meat mixture and stir. I use my Mix n Chop from Pampered Chef, but a wooden spoon would work really well too.
  9. Next, I stir in the pizza sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let cook for 4-6. hours or until the meat is cooked through (I leave it to cook while I am at work for 8 hours, but it would be done before then).
  10. Next, when I get home from work I add the cheese and pizza toppings we prefer. Let cook in the crock pot until the cheese is melted.
