Easy Fruit Salad

Fruit salads can be used in so many ways and you can put in your family’s favorite fruits, making them a perfect meal.

You can serve a fruit salad in a bowl or my children’s favorite way is to have them served on a skewer. I let them help cut up the fruit into medium-sized pieces and then give them skewers. They love being able to help in the kitchen and layer up the skewers with their favorite fruits.

Easy Fruit Salad

Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple cored and diced
  • 1/2 cantaloupe diced
  • 1/2 pound of strawberries
  • 1 bunch of grapes
  • Lemon juice
  • Water

Method
 

  1. First clean all the fruit.
  2. Next, cut the fruit into medium sized pieces that needs to be cut.
  3. Place in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix 1 cup of water with 1 T lemon juice.
  5. Pour water and lemon juice mixture over fruit, this will prevent browning.
  6. Drain water from fruit.
  7. Serve in a bowl or on skewers.
