- Brown the ground beef in a saucepan with minced garlic and minced onion. Drain the fat and put beef back in the saucepan. Salt and pepper it to taste.Add the rest of the ingredients to the saucepan and let it simmer. After about 15 minutes taste and adjust seasoning as you like. Continue to simmer until you are ready to eat. Serve with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapenos, crackers, corn chips, or Doritos.
