  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 large apple peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, applesauce, and maple syrup.
