Kids love kabobs and so do adults!
There is something about eating food off a stick that is super fun and appealing to everyone. It is also a fun way to get kids involved in meal prep!
Sometimes I get nervous about the food getting burnt or the meat not getting done in the middle so I will put like foods on the same skewer. This helps me feel better about cooking times. Then we take them all off and re-stick them with what each person wants on their skewer. This makes the meal extremely kid-friendly and everyone is happy!
Ingredients
Method
- Prepare all of the pieces by cutting them into similar sizes.
- Heat the grill
- Put the chicken in a mixing bow and coat with olive oil and spice blend of your choice.
- Begin skewering the meat onto the sticks. You can alternate all of the veggies and the meat in a pattern, but I like to keep all like items on the same skewers for cooking to the same temperature.
- After all food has been placed on sticks, grill for about 10-15 minutes or until the inside of the chicken is 165 degrees F.
- Eat and enjoy!
