About Planned Then Prepped

Ryan and I may be new to building websites and taking food photos, but we’re super excited to share our delicious recipes with all of you!

Our recipes are perfect for families, quick to make (usually 30 minutes or less), and won’t break the bank. We want to show you that real life isn’t always picture-perfect like on Pinterest. Our food pictures reflect what the final dish looks like when I make it for my own family.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love looking at beautiful food too, but when I’m at home and in a hurry, I need recipes that inspire me and are actually doable! That’s why we’re here to help. We hope that our realistic food pictures and recipes will give you the confidence to cook and make healthy homemade meals for your own family.

In addition to sharing recipes, I’ve been teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at the high school level for the past ten years. Recently, I had this wild idea to create a meal planner notebook (you can find it in our Shop Link). We started promoting it on Instagram and our reels started to gain popularity. Now, we want to make it even easier for you to find our recipes by having a static website.

Feel free to explore our website and hopefully, you’ll find a yummy recipe that you’ll want to make over and over again! I absolutely love creating meal plans and grocery lists, so if you need help with that to save time and money, check out our meal plan service.

We can’t wait to have you join our community and start cooking up some amazing meals together!
