Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are a classic side that can be whipped up in a matter of minutes. This easy mashed potatoes recipe only has three ingredients!

The key to creamy mashed potatoes is to make sure your potatoes are boiled long enough that they will fully smash when you take the potato masher or hand mixer to them. How do you know when they are done? Stick a fork in them and if the potatoes break where the fork enters the potato you are good to go!

The other key to easy fluffy mashed potatoes is to use enough milk and butter. If you are mashing your potatoes and they aren’t getting smooth, add more milk a littl bit at a time and continue mashing. This will ensure the potatoes get extrmely smooth!
