How to Make the Perfect Seasoned Ground Pork Lettuce Wraps

Brown the pork in a skillet unitl it is all the way browned and no pink is left. Then to make it an even deeper flavor let it sit in a hot pan for a few minutes so gets a little more carmelization on the outside and alittle texture.

Chop the veggies small or use a grater to shred the cabbage and the carrots. This will help it cook faster because the slices are thin.

Add the seasoning into the soy sauce, stir, and then pour over the whole mixture of cabbage, pork, and carrots while it is in the skillet. This makes it so all of the veggies and meat can develop great flavor.

Cook the ground pork and cabbage mixture so that the vegetables turn a softer but not totally mushy texture.

To assemble these seasoned ground pork lettuce wraps, wash and prep your butter lettuce. Then take one leaf at a time and spoon the meat mixutre into it, the wraps are more like a cup and don’t really wrap all the way around it. I think the bibb or butter lettuce leaves work best for this type of meal.
