English Muffin Egg Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 4 English muffins
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 sausage patties optional
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of tomato optional
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter

Method
 

  1. Prepare English muffins by placing them in a toaster to lightly toast, use butter if you want when they come out.
  2. Get out a saute pan. Put a small amount of fat (butter, oil, cooking spray, etc) into the bottom to keep eggs from sticking. Next, crack eggs into the pan, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can break the yolks if you would like. Cook until they are done to your liking.
  3. Prepare sausage patties in the oven, saute pan, microwave, etc.
  4. When English muffins are toasted place one slice of cheese on the bottom side, next layer the sausage patty on, then place the egg on top when it is cooked. Lastly, place a slice of tomato on top and put the top English muffin on.
  5. These freeze really well, but omit the tomato, until you are ready to prepare them. Just assemble and put in tinfoil. To heat put in the oven for a few minutes at 350.
