- Coffee pot– I love my Hamilton Beach 12-cup coffee pot. It will make enough for a couple of people or a whole gathering. This is a perfect coffee pot for when your guests spend the night or if you want to serve throughout the day.
- Crock Pot – Crock pots are a staple appliance in any house, especially during the holidays. Cook mashed potatoes, soups, roasts, drinks, or desserts in this large crock pot. Meals from a crock pot reduce kitchen time while ensuring a healthy meal can be served no matter what time of day.
- Ninja Air Fryer – This air fryer can do many jobs, which is perfect for when you need an extra cooking space for buns, cookies, or side dishes during the holiday gatherings coming up. There are 8 functions to this appliance. I love it because I can prepare enough food for all four of us at once. It also folds up so it sits vertically on the counter! It will not only save you time in the kitchen but would make a great gift for the meal prep person in your family.
- Ninja Food Processor – My Ninja Food Processor came with my Ninja System which can lead to amazing and healthy recipes down the road. Focusing on the Ninja Food Processor, you will be able to make pie crust, bread doughs, or chop and mix ingredients for cole slaws or salads in a flash! It is the perfect size for large or small batches.
- Food Storage Containers (glass or plastic) – These are my favorite food storage containers in the whole world. I love the Ello Brand containers because they are glass, easy to reheat food in, and do not leak. They also come in a variety of sizes! If you love plastic containers the Rubbermaid Brilliance Containers are the best I have ever used. They are clear, spill-proof, and nest nicely into one another when not in use.
- Serving ware – Check out this idea list to find the perfect servingware for your next gathering. The type of serving ware you choose from trays to spoons to ladles, helps to set the mood for your gathering. There are chic and modern versions or you can find more fun and festive ones with characters on this list.
- Cookie-Making Tools – I have linked my favorite Doughmaker cookie sheets. These cookie sheets can withstand use and overuse. I also love jelly roll pans for making cookies or sheet cakes. I also have linked glass and metal mixing and measuring tools and my favorite spatulas. All of these have lasted a very long time and I have put them in the dishwasher and no problems!
- Stand Mixer – I love my Kitchen Aide stand mixer. I have had mine for 9+ years and it works just as well today as it did the day I took it out of the box. I love using it when I am baking. It cuts down time for mixing or kneading by a significant amount! Our favorite holiday items to make with it are all of the cookies for cookie trays we make!
- Griddle – When having a large amount of people over, especially if they are staying for breakfast, having a griddle is so nice! You can do large amounts of bacon, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, hamburgers, chicken breasts, etc. on them so everyone can eat at the same time. My family also takes the griddle in the camper, so this can be a year-round appliance!
- Food Thermometer – Using a food thermometer will come in handy every day. We went years without having one and then we got one. Now I use it every day! There is no guessing when the meat is done or if my water is hot enough for baking bread. When you are feeding a group of people it is essential to make sure it is cooked through so no one gets sick.
I hope this list has helped you get prepared for the holidays and the preparation of foods you will be making! Check out www.plannedthenprepped.com to find family-friendly recipes you can also use for your family gathering.
