This Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Bowl brings together everything you love about the classic flavor combo—savory bacon, tender chicken, and creamy ranch seasoning—all in a high-protein, satisfying breakfast. One of my favorite flavor combos is chicken, bacon, and ranch. If there is a menu item with this combo 9 out of 10 times I will order it. Which is why I wanted to make a healthy protein-filled version of it everyone can enjoy!

So how did I take my classic flavor combo and make it healthier? I added eggs!

Using canned chicken makes this recipe a really quick one to put together, but make sure to drain it well so there is no extra juice or moisture.

Adding the ranch seasoning to the cottage cheese helps to mix it in evenly. You can also use as much or as little of this flavor as you want, I suggest a lot :).

To really pop the flavors of this egg dish, sprinkling a little hot sauce or hot honey over it would be perfect!

Using single serve baking dishes makes it so you can easily track your macros, grab and go in the mornings, and makes clean up easier. I like these containers personally.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Bowl

Servings: 2 servings
Course: Breakfast, Main Course

Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 4 tsp ranch dressing seasoning
  • 1/2 cup canned chicken
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1 green onion sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 T cheddar cheese shredded (optional)

Method
 

  1. First preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Next spray two oven safe dish with cooking spray.
  3. Measure out 1/4 cup canned chicken into each dish.
  4. Measure out 1/4 cup cottage cheese into each dish.
  5. Take 1 T of bacon bits and sprinkle over mixture.
  6. Crack 2 eggs into each dish.
  7. Sprinkle 2 tsp ranch seasoning into each dish.
  8. Stir the mixture together.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (if desired, the ingredients can be salty by themselves).
  10. Sprinkle each dish with 1 T more bacon bits on top.
  11. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese if using.
  12. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the inside has set to your liking, should not be jiggly any more.
  13. Take them out and cool, top with green onion slices.
  14. Enjoy right away or store in the fridge for up to 4 days for an easy meal prep.
