Philly Cheesesteak using leftovers, over a bed of salad leaves.

Philly Cheesesteak (but with leftovers)

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 cups roast meat beef, pork, chicken
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Method
 

  1. Take leftover roast meat and shred it.
  2. Put oil in a saute pan and heat it up.
  3. Add the sliced peppers and onions.
  4. Cook until they are started to get soft.
  5. Add the meat, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
  6. Stir until the meat is heated through.
  7. Turn off the heat.
  8. Next lay the 4 pieces of provolone over the top and let it melt over the meat and vegetables.
  9. Serve over a bed of lettuce or a hoagie bun.
